I've always enjoyed writing and wrote for my school newspapers in both junior high school and high school. My first professional writing job came in 1999 when I became a copywriter for the Sharper Image and wrote copy for the catalog, signs, instructions and packaging. While this wasn't a career I was interested in, I learned a lot about writing, grammar and the importance of being concise. While working at Brave New Films from 2007 to 2009, I became the head writer/administrator of the FOX Attacks blog, which followed FOX News. I also blogged about other topics for the bravenewfilms.org blog. I currently write for the Huffington Post, where I review films and occasionally blog about politics.
